A plaster which can give vaccinations is now available.
The plaster has 100 microscopic needles which administer the medication and trials show the plaster is just as effective as a regular needle.
Assistant professor at Emory University Dr Nadine Rouphael told Mike Hosking the plaster has been in the works for close to 20 years.
She said it looks just like a regular plaster.
"The needles are very, very tiny and very hard to see."
