Peter Capaldi and Sir Peter Jackson are causing an international stir with a provocative Facebook video.

It seems to suggest that Sir Peter could be about to direct an episode of Doctor Who - something he's long expressed interest in.

In the video, he sits at home chatting to his daughter and polishing his Oscars, when she says the show's writer, Steven Moffat, is trying to email him.

Sir Peter jokes he only replies to the ones he can understand but most of them are incoherent, like his scripts.

Then the current Doctor bursts in and asks him to sign something before being chased off by a Dalek.
