Winston Peters says choosing the next Government, is one of the most difficult decisions he's had to make in his long political career.
The New Zealand First leader will meet with his board and eight other MPs today, to consider the bids by both National and Labour.
Mr Peters says he's satisfied the decision will be in the best interests of the country.
"I've never had a decision to make like this, in the context of the potential positive side of it. I've had to make decisions in my career which have been, 'I'm not going to take this and I'm going to have to leave and I'm going to have make a stand here'."
Meanwhile, a body language expert believes Winston Peters is happy with what he's getting from coalition talks.
Suzanne Masefield said he's either getting what he wants... or is willing to settle because he's exhausted.
"There's definitely a softening happening with him. He gave a natural smile which is quite unusual for him usually, unless he's laughing at somebody. However he looks exhausted.
