The country's biggest school is detailing just how heavily it relies on international students to fund its teachers.

New figures have emerged after a question in Parliament showing that schools are increasingly using their own cash to pay for more staff.
They show the number of extra teachers paid for by schools is up by more than half in four years.
Rangitoto College principal David Hodge told Larry Williams the school would be half a million dollars in debt, if not for the cash brought by international students.
"I think that if anything happens for example, to the international market, high decile schools are in big, big trouble because they are simply not going to be able to maintain anywhere near the quality."
