Kiwi Greg Foster was in a neighbouring hotel to the gunman when the horror broke out.
He said the lobby soon filled with people seeking refuge from the chaos outside.

Greg Foster told Larry Williams the volleys of rapid gunfire were relentless.
"There was a volley of gunfire and then it would stop and then it start again. He was either reloading or changing firearm. It just kept coming wave, after wave, after wave."

He said the lobby soon filled with people seeking refuge from the chaos outside.
"Certainly there were a lot of panicked people that had come from the concert. There were people being dragged into the hotel room . Police Officers were running around and telling us to get back to our room. It was quite a chaotic scene."
