Police in the UK are considering on whether misogyny should be classified as a hate crime.

Chief executive of the National Council of Women for New Zealand Gill Greer says NZ hasn't achieved as much on hate crimes as the UK.

"Women have had to put up with sexual harassment for too long, and we need to make sure we don't lag behind other countries."
