Just when Labour were getting stuck into National about the Todd Barclay scandal, they have a problem of their own.

Labour brought in 85 foreign students to do campaigning for them in exchange for a place to sleep and food.

There are accusations these interns are being treated like sweatshop workers and are living in a cramped marae with no working shower.

But that's being refuted by another intern contacted by Newstalk ZB, who says the claims are coming from a disgraced intern who launched the attack after they were caught stealing wine.
