It's come down to the brink and no one's blinked yet ahead of a predicted trade war between America and China.
We're only hours away from when the first round of US tariffs on Chinese goods comes into effect.
However, JMI Wealth director Andrew Kelleher told Larry Williams China they won't fire the first shot by imposing sanctions before the US does.
He says Chinese Commerce Ministry spokesman Gao Feng has made a good point.
"Of the $34 billion worth of Chinese exports [that] will be subject to the initial traffics, $20 billion of that $34 billion are manufactured inside China by foreign companies, including American companies."
Kelleher says that proves how blunt these measures are.
