Royal commentators have been blown away by Harry and Meghan's wedding - with one describing it as "perfection."

Statistics show it was also one of the social media events of the year, with talk about the royal wedding prompting 3.4 million posts on Twitter between the start of the day and the end of the ceremony.

Commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Kate Hawkesby his high expectations were emphatically met.

"What an amazing wedding. This was a tribute to the power of love and an example of the global reach of social media. It's empowering and it's diversity - amazing."
