Kiwi can-do company Rocket Lab has secured tens of millions of dollars of extra funding.
Its goal is to get frequent rocket launches off the ground to put satellites into space.
A test launch from Hawke's Bay has yet to come, but the company is now valued at more than a billion US dollars.
Today it has announced US$75 million (NZ$106 million) of new money, led by a venture capital firm.
Rocket Lab's chief executive Peter Beck says told Rachel Smalley it'll help it grow at a crucial time.
"Part of the reason why we're scaling early before even the test flights is that we've just seen so much demand in the service that we can't mess around any more.
"Space is a really exciting place and it's a really exciting time in space right now."
