The PPTA says it's quietly confident the Government's new school funding model will be successful.
The decile system is to be replaced with an index, that will target funding to better support students most at risk of not achieving.
PPTA president Jack Boyle told Nadine Higgins he doesn't expect anyone to be worse off under the new model.
"Nobody's going to be going backwards, so that's a really good start. Being able to be a bit more targeted with the money that goes in is good."

Mr Boyle said the decile system is no longer fit for purpose, and can unfairly stigmatise lower decile centres.
He told Nadine Higgins schools are eager to find out more about the new model.
