A dire warning to the world - there are just weeks to contain the Ebola epidemic.

Save The Children is lobbying our government to step up its response to the epidemic.

CEO Heather Hayden says the numbers are alarming with 10,000 people infected, and a death rate of around 70 percent.

Ms Hayden says the World Health Organisation expects the figure to double by the end of November if the outbreak isn't contained.

She wants our government to use its new clout on the Security Council, to push G20 nations on the issue.
