President Barack Obama has laid out a framework to allow illegal immigrants to remain in the United States.
He says it applies to those who've lived in the US for five years, who have children who are US citizens and who have obeyed the law.
He says those people will be shielded from deportation.
President Obama has bypassed Congress with his plan, but he insists it is legal.
