The 27 countries staying in the EU have needed only a few moments to agree their strategy for divorce talks with Britain.
They've unanimously signed up to a document making the rights of European citizens in the UK a key part of the negotiations.
And Brexit will cost Britain billions of pounds.
French president Francois Hollande says Britain can go, but it won't get out without honouring its existing commitments, saying Europe "must defend its interests."
Hollande also said that, "there will inevitably be a price and a cost for the UK, it's the choice that has been made" but that "it must not be a punishment."
