The volcanic ash cloud over Denpasar Airport is causing problems again.

Both Virgin Australia and Jetstar have cancelled flights in and out of Bali.

The Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre has said conditions are no longer safe for flying.

Air New Zealand has been forced to delay today's flight to Bali.

Flight NZ245 was scheduled to depart Auckland at 4.30pm today.

It has now been delayed until 8am tomorrow, but that will also depend on whether conditions will be good enough to fly to Denpasar Airport.

The airline is concerned about volcanic ash from the continued eruption of nearby Mount Raung.
