Canadians mourning the loss of Leonard Nimoy have been told to stop scribbling Mr Spock pictures on their five dollar notes.
For years, fans have been scribbling on the face of their former PM Wilfrid Laurier on the notes.
This gathered pace last week with the death of the Star Trek actor.
Canada's central bank says it's not illegal to add Spock's pointy Vulcan ears, sharp eyebrows and signature bowl haircut to the notes.
However, it has encouraged citizens to stop their scribbling.
