A feather in the cap for Wellington, which has been named in the Rough Guides list of top 10 cities to visit in 2015.
The capital comes in at number six on the list, which is topped by Johannesburg.
The publication lists Wellington's cafe scene, craft beer bars and Te Papa as reasons to visit.
Others on the list include Spanish city Malaga, New Orleans and Hamburg.
