Labour's named the team that'll analyse its 2014 election performance.

The party crashed to a 25 percent result and two fewer MPs in Parliament.

Former British Labour MP and former Waikato University Vice-Chancellor Bryan Gould's been appointed to lead the review.

He's joined by former MP Margaret Wilson, broadcaster Stacey Morrison, and lawyer Brian Corban.

The review will not only look at Labour's 2014 election performance, but also at its positioning, future operations, and governance
