There's been quick support for the latest call for an inquiry into the Peter Ellis case.
Former National and ACT leader Don Brash and writer Lynley Hood have revived the issue, with a plea to the Justice Minister.
They want an overseas judge to review the entire Christchurch Civic Creche affair, saying Ellis's convictions for child abuse are New Zealand’s worst miscarriage of justice.
United Future leader Peter Dunne has also backed previous calls for an inquiry.
"I just think that it is time now after all these years gone by to have a fresh look at the case," he says.
"Time's gone by but the injustice remains in my view."
