The tour company bringing Bruce Springsteen to New Zealand says people buying tickets from online scalpers are taking a big risk.
Several South Islanders could be set to lose thousands of dollars after purchasing tickets from website Viagogo.
Forty-eight hours out from Springsteen's Christchurch concert, they are still yet to receive tickets online.
Head of Frontier Touring New Zealand, Brent Eccles, said people need to be cautious.
"We only guarantee tickets that are sold through outlets nominated by us - in this case, Ticketek."
Tickets from other websites often "cost a lot more than the face value".
Clare from Christchurch said an automated reply from Viagogo assured her tickets the would be emailed three days before the concert.
She is yet to receive anything.
"It's very disappointing. It's terribly annoying to lose that much money."
A woman in Dunedin is at risk of losing $1,200 after purchasing from the same website.
