West Auckland parents are on high alert, after reports of a man harassing school children.

Arahoe School has contacted parents with a Stranger Danger Alert, after reports of a man in a white van seeming to follow children, and exposing himself from the van.

The school is warning parents to talk to their children about safe travel, and ring police if they have information.

The police have been alerted, and are watching the community.
