The daughter of Waikato man Alan Langdon has been reunited with her mother after a 22-month separation and a month at sea.
Six-year-old Que Langdon sparked a massive missing persons search when her father took her from New Zealand without permission to New South Wales on December 17th.
Her mother Ariane Wyler flew to Ulladulla to see her daughter and within ten minutes of their reunion Que wanted to leave with her mother.
Despite the ordeal Ms Wyler said she doesn't want sole custody because she knows how damaging it can be to have a parent taken away.
Mr Langdon has been charged with taking a child from New Zealand without permission and is scheduled to appear in court in Te Awamutu on January 25th.
