In Tauranga all 1250 state homes for sale hundreds more are up for grabs in Invercargill as well as other areas.
Organiser Ariana Paretutanganui TamatiI said delegates will represent housing tenants from across the country.
"The best outcome of course is that they review their policy and don't sell state houses. There's currently a crisis of state housing so they need to build more houses."
Paretutanganui Tamati said the government has a responsibility to look after its most vulnerable.
"They're saying we're going to provide them to social services, well at the end of the day, they're still going to diminish the supply of low, affordable income housing for vulnerable families."
The hour-long march will kick off fro Wellington's Civic Square at noon.
