Michael Preston has been found guilty of murdering his estranged wife Mei Fan in the High Court in Wellington.
The jury has just returned it's verdict, after only retiring at one o'clock this afternoon to deliberate.
Mei Fan was murdered at her home in Wellington in 2013.
Upon hearing the verdict, a woman in the public gallery burst into tears.
