The makers of Phoenix brand soft drinks have issued a recall notice because bottles may have damaged rims and could contain small glass particles.

The batches impacted are Cola, Lemonade, Light Cola, Orange Fizz and Raspberry Fizz with best before dates between the 13th of April and 7th of July next year.

They include beverages sold as four packs, and individual bottles.

The drinks are sold in cafes, supermarkets, petrol stations and corner stores throughout New Zealand.

They are also exported to Australia, Singapore, Cook Islands, Hong Kong, Thailand, China, South Korea, Dubai and the Philippines.

The Better Drinks Company says they should be returned to retailers for a full refund.
