UPDATED 6.21pm:Â A coroner has called for practical solutions to stop forestry deaths.
An inquest into the death of Robert Epapara has been taking place today in Rotorua today.
The 23 year old was killed when he was hit by a tree felled by fellow logger Major Nelson in the Waione Forest in 2013.
Coroner Wallace Bain has asked Major Nelson for a written submission to outline what safety measures need to be put in place, and what's not working.
He says he wants solutions from men on the ground to make sure another 'Robert' doesn't die.
