Hundreds of people have been shaken by a magnitude 4.3 quake that hit central New Zealand tonight.
The 11 kilometre deep quake struck 35 kilometres northeast of Seddon in Marlborough at 7.21.
Geonet describes the quake as moderate.
Almost 400 people, mostly in the Marlborough and Wellington regions, have reported on the Geonet website that they felt the quake.
