A father is being held up as a hero after diving into Auckland Harbour to save his daughter.
The 3-year-old fell off North Wharf on Wynyard Quarter last night.
Her mother also jumped in, but hit her feet on a boat.
Police say it's a miracle the little girl survived.
A police boat rescued the injured mother and the family were taken to Auckland Hospital.
