The All Blacks have revealed an unsurprising side for Saturday’s third match of the Rugby Championship against Argentina.

The solitary change to the starting side sees Ryan Crotty return at second five having missed the second Bledisloe test through concussion.

Hooker Codie Taylor also returns after head knock, joining Luke Romano in the reserves as Romano replaces Liam Squire, while Anton Leinert-Brown is rightly rewarded for his test debut, taking Seta Tamanivalu spot on the bench.

On Romano, coach Steve Hansen said they felt for this game they needed to have a specialist on the bench.

"The Argentinians have a really big pack, and it gives us the opportunity to see how Luke Romano is going, and seeing how he comes off the bench and if he can fit that role going forward."

The Pumas lost narrowly to South Africa in the first test in the republic, before rebounding to win the return test in Salta.

Hansen said ahead of Saturday's match in Hamilton, the Argentines are in strong form.

"Their confidence will be high, and they'll believe that they''ll have a really good shake at us. So we're going to have to be right on our own game."

However, Hansen said they didn't see the need to make further changes.

"The rest of the team we felt we wanted to keep consistency, and just keep letting it roll on a bit and get established, getting comfortable as a group."

Meanwhile the All Blacks have released Ofa Tu’ungafasi, Patrick Tuipulotu, Damian McKenzie and Tawera Kerr-Barlow for Sunday’s Battle of the Bombay Hills at Eden Park.

ALL BLACKS: Ben Smith, Israel Dagg, Malakai Fekitoa, Ryan Crotty, Julian Savea, Beauden Barrett, Aaron Smith, Kieran Read (c), Sam Cane, Jerome Kaino, Samuel Whitelock, Brodie Retallick, Owen Franks, Dane Coles, Joe Moody. RESERVES: Codie Taylor, Wyatt Crockett, Charlie Faumuina, Luke Romano, Ardie Savea, TJ Perenara, Aaron Cruden, Anton Lienert-Brown.
