A 23-year-old student who advocated for Pharmac to fund Keytruda has died after a long struggle with melanoma.
Jeff Paterson was diagnosed when he was 16, and has been fighting recurring cancers ever since.
Family and friends are posting social media messages praising him.
Pharmac recently decided it will fund Keytruda and Opdivo for hundreds of patients with advanced melanomas.
