The Minister of Health is to take advice on what steps might be needed to stop young people huffing, or inhaling gases and aerosols, amongst youth.

It follows an explosion in South Auckland property that's left three people in hospital with burns.

It's believed to have happened after the people involved were "huffing" propane gas

Minister of Health Jonathan Coleman says it's an unhealthy practice and they have to do what they can to educate young people about its dangers.

He says clearly more needs to be done and he will be taking advice from officials about it.
