A glimmer of hope for Hamilton's pensioner housing residents with the council considering major changes to its proposal to sell pensioner housing units.
The Hamilton City Council heard submissions on the sale of the city's 344 units earlier this month.
As a result of those submissions a staff report recommends all existing tenants should be able to stay in the units, as well as a clause only offering them to social housing providers.
