A new lawsuit accuses Superman Returns and X-Men director Bryan Singer of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy at a party on a yacht more than a decade ago.
The lawsuit filed in Seattle claims that Singer demanded sex from Cesar Sanchez-Guzman while giving him a tour of the vessel.
After the then-teenager refused, the lawsuit says, Singer pushed him on a bed and raped him.
In a statement, lawyer Andrew Brettler said Singer categorically denies the allegations and will vehemently defend the lawsuit to the very end.
The statement says Cesar Sanchez-Guzman apparently claims that he did not remember the alleged incident from 2003 until now.Â
This is not the first time Singer has been embroiled in allegations of this nature. In 1997, a 14-year-old extra on a film directed by Singer accused the director of forcing him and other minors to film a naked shower scene.
In 2014, he was also accused of of sexual assault of a minor.
Last week, Singer was fired from helming an upcoming biopic about the band Queen due to prolonged and unexplained absences from the set.Â
