A reporter was caught off-guard as he took to the streets to interview New Yorkers about what they thought of new 'No Catcalling' signs in the city.

After receiving a round of anti-cat calling comments the interviewer seemed to expect, one man caught him off guard saying calling out to a female passer-by was simply a thank you for getting up in the morning. 

The man went on to show the reporter how he addresses women on the street. He admitted it was exactly the same method he would use to gain the attention of a dog.
