A note has been found threatening staff.

The University's registry building has been evacuated as a result.

Police are on their way to the campus.

Vice-Chancellor Steve Maharey said they're aware of the threats made against Otago and Victoria over the past two days.

While the threats have come to nothing, he said keeping students and staff safe is their key priority.
