UPDATED 5.10PM:Â The Fire Service is investigating how a large fire broke out at a McDonald's restaurant in Upper Hutt today. Â
Thirty-six fire fighters had to attend the blaze at the Silverstream McDonald's on Fergusson Drive.
No staff or customers were injured, but the restaurant is understood to be severely damaged. Â Â
