A 10-year-old's being flown to hospital after a rubbish truck and ute collided in the main street of Waihi this morning.
It happened on Kenny St just after 8 o'clock.
An adult who was driving the ute has also been hurt.
A section of Kenny St, which is also SH25, is now closed.
