The Green Party says several schools are still using time-out rooms despite Government moves to outlaw them.
An Inclusive Education Action Group rally is underway at the Auckland Domain.
Green MP Catherine Delahunty is speaking at the rally and said a couple of schools haven't found other strategies and are still using the seclusion rooms.
She said we need to support schools to change.
"I'm not blaming schools. What I'm doing is saying to the Government help these people to do something better, because it's not OK for our kids."
