Primary teachers are gearing up for another three year battle, as the National government heads into its third term.
The NZEI's been calling for a re-think of the Government's 359 million dollar education policy, which included the introduction of higher-paid expert teachers.
Union president Judith Nowotarski says the battle is set to continue.
She says their biggest concern is the education of children and with the return of another National government these point of differences will have to be worked through.
