Kim Dotcom has escaped jail, for a few more days at least.

A breach of bail hearing at the Auckland District Court has now been put off until Thursday.

Dotcom's new lawyer, Ron Mansfield, says they're eager to strongly deny the allegations, but some of the prosecution's documents were filed as late as yesterday .. and as he's still getting familiar with the case, that's just not enough time.

Stricter bail conditions are still in force, including daily reporting to the police, not travelling more than 80 kilometres from his home, and not travelling by helicopter or boat.
