A lawyer has been ordered not to practise law for three years after possessing and selling cannabis.
Anthony Blair, who's also known as Paul Blair, was found guilty of two charges in the Hamilton District Court.
He sold one cannabis tinnie for $20 to an undercover police officer, and at the time of sale he was holding three other tinnies in his hand.
The Law Society's prosecutions manager Mark Treleaven says this is a serious matter which has marred the high standard of conduct that is expected of every lawyer in New Zealand.
