The Black Widow’s son will remain in Christchurch Men’s Prison for a little longer, after his request for bail was denied this morning.

Adam Kearns was arrested last week in a police raid and faces 11 charges including possession, supply and sale of drugs, two assault charges and having a gun and taser.

He’s previously argued the gun was for protection against his mother, Helen Milner, who he believes has hired a hit man to kill him.

The disgruntled looking 24-year-old appeared via video link in the Christchurch District Court this morning, choosing to represent himself.

He will reappear next week.
