Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal has one more day to raise just under $25,000.

The Christchurch Earthquake Appeal Trust promised to donate $150,000 to the embattled theatre, if it can match it.

The 300-thousand-dollar crowd funding will cover the theatre's loan interest for at least a year - ensuring it stays open.

Now with less than 24 hours to go, it still needs almost $25,000, and is calling on Christchurch art lovers to help.

Donations close tomorrow and can be done online through the boosted website.
