Two thirds of New Zealand exports to Korea are now duty free.

That's up from 46 percent last year.

Trade Minister Todd McClay said more businesses looking to expand into Korea will benefit from the latest round of tariff reductions under the New Zealand-Korea Free Trade Agreement.

He said thanks to the continued progress under the FTA, even more Kiwi businesses can compete favourably in the Korean market.

New Zealand food and beverage exports to Korea have increased by over 16 percent since the agreement came into force in December 2015.
