Global Dairy Prices have fallen by 2.2 percent overnight.
Whole milk powder was down by half a percent.
Andrew Kelleher from JMIS says there's no hoped-for reprieve for dairy farmers.
"It's the fifth consecutive fall. Going back to March now we haven't seen any rise in the Global Dairy Trade Auction."
Kelleher claims some sideways movement was expected because there hasn't been anything to indicate a major shift in the price.
Farmers, however, were hoping for a snap-back.
Kelleher says from July to October farmers can expect a cash-flow hole, but what's going to happen next year is more worrying.
