Auckland Transport is promising to do better this Wednesday after hundreds complained about frustrating journeys to and from Friday night's cricket match at Eden Park.
Around 18-thousand people used public transport to get to the game but were left fuming when they arrived late.
Some got there late because of overloaded transport and when the game was over, a fault delayed the last two trains for 35 minutes.
Auckland Transport says while extra Northern Express buses were put on and train capacity was tripled, clearly, it wasn't enough.
Auckland Transport is promising a review of public transport arrangements before Wednesday’s series finale.
They say the good weather meant crowds were bigger than expected, and a lot of spectators left it until the last minute to travel, which put pressure on services after 6 pm.
It's promising to do better for the next game on Wednesday.
