Auckland is getting a taste of the Cricket World Cup with its first game of the tournament tomorrow.
The Black Caps and Australia are going head-to-head at Eden Park.
ATEED's Brett O'Riley says alongside the Britomart fan zone, there will also be an official fan trail from the city centre to the stadium.
"The combination of the fan zone and the fan trail will make the city come to life."
Walking might be the best way to get to tomorrow's match.
Brett O'Riley says people taking the fan trail will have lots of fun.
"It'll have banners, flags and bunting and fans will be lead to the ground by some musical entertainment."
Fans will also be able to catch the match at the alcohol-free Britomart fan zone.
A full liquor ban will be in place for central suburbs between the CBD and Eden Park.
Auckland’s Sky Tower will flash in the New Zealand and Australia’s Cricket World Cup team colours to mark the match at Eden Park this Saturday.
The Tower will switch between black, white and blue for New Zealand; and yellow and green for Australia.
