People are being encouraged to take buses to Auckland's main Anzac Day dawn service tomorrow.

The service begins at six o'clock at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

A Sunday and public holiday timetable is in place for all bus services, but there'll be additional InnerLink and Northern Express services.

Early trains will be in operation.

A train will leave Swanson at 4.15, travelling through to Grafton Station on Park Road, and continuing on to Newmarket.

Trains are also scheduled on the Onehunga, Southern and Eastern lines from 4.15.

A train from Papakura will leave at 4.07, and one from Manukau will leave at 4.05.

Passengers need to get off at Newmarket and walk 15 minutes to the museum.

There'll be two services from Britomart to Newmarket at 5.15 and 5.25.
