Keep up with
Newstalk ZB
As the weekend winds up and down, join Tim Roxborogh and Pam Corkery on Friday and Sunday nights to chat about pretty much anything and everything.
Pam Corkery has been around so long she has come back into fashion! The multi-award winning journalist/broadcaster is back in radio after a self-imposed break, co-hosting Newstalk ZB’s twice-weekly "The Two". Debuting in January 2012, The Two is a number one rating show of intelligent silliness and is a fine combo with Tim Roxborogh, a broadcaster 25 years Pam’s junior.
Pam has worked in all media both here and in Australia, has served one term in Parliament as a member of The Alliance and is a regular commentator on politics. Her most treasured self-description these days is recovering addict and 2013 marks four years of being alcohol and drug-free.
Pam has put 30 years research into the “disease of more,” during which her motto was, “I’ll have another large one,” of anything - including husbands, of which she has had three. She also has two sensational daughters, is completing a memoir entitled "No-one Ever Died of Embarrassment," and is writing TV drama.
Tim joined the Newstalk ZB team in July 2011 and brings with him more than a decade of broadcasting experience in Auckland music radio. A former breakfast host and music director, Tim is also a trained journalist with a blog at roxboroghreport.blogspot.com.
A keen world traveller with a love of people, history and adventure, Tim spent seven childhood years in Malaysia and has also travelled extensively throughout South-East Asia, North America, Central America, Australia and the UK.
With passions as varied as cricket, the Bee Gees and black civil rights, Tim shares a unique perspective on any topic.
