Phoenix break drought with 1-0 win

| Latest Football News | Saturday February 2 2013 18:59

The Wellington Phoenix have won for the first time in over a month.

The Phoenix have edged the Perth Glory 1-0 in their A-League match at Eden Park, thanks to a headed goal from Jeremy Brockie in the 41st minute.

Their fifth win of the season means Wellington swap places with Perth on the competition ladder, moving up to ninth, while the Glory are now bottom.

Phoenix defender Ben Sigmund picked up a yellow card, his fifth of the season, meaning he'll miss Thursday's match against the Central Coast Mariners.
